Mechanism of Life

Its a beautiful day. There is scent of recent rain in the air, the smell of the earth. It is a scene out of a scenery with a rainbow drawn on the canvas. Sitting in a park, watching a beautiful butterfly fluttering its dynamic wings, you want to catch it. You reach out. Twenty five minutes later, there is a huge crash just outside of the park, on the road. An accident involving an oil tanker and a car, resulting in the death of the car driver and seriously injuring the girl on the back of the car. The girl was rushed to the hospital by a man who saw the whole incident. Looks nothing but a terrible accident, does it? Such incidents happen normally, each day, don't they? Well they do but this incident wasn't normal at all and no other incident is normal. This particular incident saved the world from a terrible disaster. It affected each one of us. Just because you caught that butterfly.

Let us look closely at the events that happened relating to this accident. Your sudden epiphany resulted in you catching the beautiful butterfly. The process was not smooth. You in the process of catching the butterfly strangulated it. You broke its antenna. Poor little thing was going to its home to tend to its cocoons. The navigation system of the butterflies is controlled by its antenna. When you broke it, the butterfly lost its sense of direction. Now that butterfly wont be able to get to its home. You just robbed the children of their mother. Sadness doesn't end here. The butterfly ventured in the direction of the road due to the warmth of it.

The driver of the sporty BMW was going to drop the owner's daughter to college. The day being nice and he was obviously inclined to open the windows and feel the gush of cool wind on his face. He wanted some relaxed atmosphere, the weather provided him that. He was tensed over the ever increasing loans and repayment wasn't easy in today's highly expensive world. He had already sought 6 extensions for home loans for the newly purchased house for his family of 2 children, a wife and a sick old mother, another extension won't be approved. He had to do something. The breeze was cool, closing his eyes for a second or two wouldn't be a bother on an empty morning road. It was a relaxing moment. There was panic and pain upon opening his eyes. An insect with big wings had suddenly crashed into his right eye. High speed of the car resulted in his eye bleeding. The driver lost control of the vehicle upon being getting flabbergasted by the butterfly. The car veered onto the wrong side of the road. Upon seeing this, the driver of the huge oil tanker applied the brakes with full force. The momentum of the tanker was such that upon crashing with the car, it flipped. The truck lay across the road, oil leaking out of the tanker was flowing into the nearby lake. The truck driver escaped unhurt. The girl at the back of the car was rushed to the hospital by a lanky and swift bystander. The driver was badly crushed and died on the spot. His family grieved the death of only breadwinner in the family. A compensation received by them led to repayment of the home loans.

The most important aspect of the incident came from the oil flowing in the river. The oil flowing into the river made it polluted completely. The water was contaminated beyond recovery. This lake was also a dumping ground for a chemical factory which dumped huge amounts of hydrochloric acid into it. The HCl reacted with the oil to create a certain kind of disinfectant which resulted in elimination of some water borne epidemic causing disease. Some more good news, the girl who was injured, survived. Plus she fell in love with the boy who saved her. There union led to a new life being sent to earth by god. Childish, but can be true!

Technically speaking, you killed a man and saved the whole world by catching a simple butterfly. The purpose of this hypothetical analysis is the purpose itself. Everything has a purpose. We dive into the realms of the ever uncertain debate of coincidence vs destiny. I say both are rubbish. What has to happen, has to happen and no factor can stop that from happening.

There is a certain mechanism devoted to this process of things happening out "somewhere". A background process, a daemon as a computer guy like me would say. The mystic mechanism is an unlimited chain reaction started before the big bang. This leads to the probability that this mechanism also presents a purpose. A certain definite end to the chain reaction. The end of the world? Maybe no. This purpose might be a certain universal goal. An accomplishment of such goal might well initiate another chain reaction. We might well speculate in our wildest of fantasies what this goal might be but, it won't be possible to imagine what it would be. This chain of events represent the fabric of life. At the end everything good happens as shown in the accident described. Even the loans were repaid. As said in a famous book, even though a single wolf dies, the pack survives.

Note: This was my come back and get lost again blog. I hope you liked it. The series, Fall from the Zenith is discontinued from now on because it didn't serve the purpose (catch the pun in it). I'll be back with something new the next time I write. Apologies to the followers, however less they were. An overwhelming feedback against the cancellation can change my mind though. Cheers.
