Dead and Dying

People! There is a announcement to be made. The mind of the people of this world is dead. The basic ability to think is gone. If you think you can think, then think again.

Lets talk about politicians. We love to slam them, and this is the perfect time to do so. The so called union budget is out, and is hailed by economist as good. Now, lets talk about dead people. The opposition. Walkout on a budget speech? I mean are they mad, or have no common sense at all. When a finance minister is doing his constitutional duty of presenting a budget, he is not making his comments, what sense makes them walk out. Who are they trying to please? The common man will only abuse them, not hail them.

Lets move on to the next dead thing, TV. There is not a single Monday to Thursday 9 PM television serial, more commonly known as Daily Soaps, which is not dead depressing. They start crying on Tuesday and cry till the Tuesday 2 weeks after. This is plain 3rd degree torture. The silver lining in these are the YRF television shows, which are decent and witty. I recommend watching Mahi Way and Powder, the latter is just like the Prison Break of India. But, they have less viewers, so SONY TV has shifted them too 8 PM and 11 PM spots. I mean how can you relate with some auntieji wearing 5 kilos of make-up and 20 kilos of jewelery the whole day? Phew...

Last year, the social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook flourished like a dream. It was like morning started with twitter, orkut and facebook in the day, and good night with twitter again. The trend is slowing down now. This is called the stage of dying. Mind you, social networking won't die ever. It is a juggernaut that will keep rolling. Only, the trends will change. Social networking sites are cliche now, the next big thing is awaited. Only innovation can save this sector. Otherwise, they will be like Ekta Kapoor K-serials. Dead and gone.

Next up is the part 2 of MEWHU.
