Fall from the Zenith : Episode 3 - In God's own Backyard

At a place unknown to any human being, where the lord of the world resides, there was a commotion. The messenger had arrived from the dead universe, he had brought some grave news from planet earth of the events that had happened and were going to happen. Council of Gods were called upon.

"I had abandoned that planet because of a grave mistake I had done, that is, the creation of the creature called Human. Now if they want to destroy themselves, why should I care?" said Glauentraun, the lord of gods.

"But there are still many who believe in you. The fact that your name is being dragged into this conspiracy will destroy that belief. And we all know here that in your heart you still care for mankind. End of this belief will lead to end of the mankind. Well, I think it is time, my lord, to go back to your home and save it from utter destruction. Save the one thing we all cherish, life." said Damachronus, the chief councilor to Glauentraun.

There was a consensus in council to the words of Damachronus.

"What you don't understand is that it is not easy to manage billions of lives. I would need help." said Lord Glauentraun.

"Then appoint a guardian." said Damachronus with straight face.

The look on the face of Glauentraun was so chilling that a million suns could have frozen from it. He had decided what he had to do.

The FBI's investigation clearance was extended to the maximum. The investigation was now an international one. G20 was the core group of primary investigations. The fact was established that there was an global terrorist group involved.

"The gun was fitted in the White House just a month ago during the renovation work, however the builder is clueless and I suppose he should be. This must be done by an impostor. This is pretty high tech technology here. So you shouldn't rule out the inside help case." said Agent Reese Walker to Larry Cox.

"I am not ruling out anything just yet. Our investigation is going too slow." said Cox.. Apparently his interrogation with the Mayan leader was a dampener. He could not hold him further since, he had delegate's privileges. Nothing got out of that meet but scrutiny from White House. "Have you contacted all Hindu groups in the city?"

"The interrogation is going on as we speak but, sir to tell you the truth, we are not much hopeful of them. What do you think? Priests and uneducated followers can create something this massive and sophisticated. Considering the bullet diagnostics from India, its military grade nanotechnology only available with some experimental facilities." said Walker.

"You checked with these facilities then?" said Cox

"There is a problem with this. These are private facilities and with no access at all to govt. Namely two facilities stand out. These are Rellac Enterprises owned by Jonas Victor and Pombos Chemicals owned by Robert Chiavo" said Walker.

"We need an undercover operation. We will strike them like the way they did!" threw Cox.

The Ishi Dior concert was not canceled inspite of the incidents of the morning. This was done to prevent panic from spreading in. The security was air tight. Additional forces were deployed at the outer ring. All other layers were handled by private security.

The concert was attended by at least 20,000 strong crowd. The blockbuster song from the album "Craters in My Heart" was playing. There was a wave of shouting fans all over. In midst of all the noise there was another wave, a silent one. The one that brought 25,000 people down to death within 5 seconds.
