Me and My Experiments with Human Understanding

Part 1 - Gathering the Truth

All this while when I was away, I was experimenting. I was trying to find out the hidden universe and how it works. This universe is nothing but mind. As we all know, our mind and our thoughts are the most complicated thing in the universe. How thoughts are generated? This question has no scientific answer yet. It has deluded scientist for years. You should have heard of Artificial Intelligence but still, its artificial. This makes this topic very interesting to experiment with. But I am not concerned about the scientific part.

Nobody can draw a conclusion about how a mind works and respond and certainly not at my age. That is why this experiment is a life long one. Although some parts of this experiment can be discussed. So, part 1 of this experiment is to find out the truth in anybody's response. Again, no conclusion can be drawn. Other parts will be shared in other posts.

Truth, is what had actually happened, is what you actually thought, is stranger than fiction because fiction is made-up and truth is a physical reality. Now, how is truth physical when we are talking of mind and thoughts? The answer lies in body language. Lies are not taken in a good way by the body. You can figure it out yourselves.

The elusive question still remains. How to get the truth out of somebody? Trust me, it needs practice. Even your own reputation and behavior makes all the difference. Even if somebody knows that you are trying to get it out when the person is unwilling, he won't tell you anything. Well for the matter of fact, you have to be a good liar to get the truth out of somebody. I am only talking about the worst case scenario. Some people just spit it out, some just need a slight push, some are really tough nuts to crack. You have to find a way in. The best method is to start a conversation depending on the victim's mood. Then go for it directly. Ask the question. If the truth comes out, then you will know it. Trust your instincts. The problem comes when you are told to go away or words like "nothing" or " kuch nahi" comes out.

Before saying anything more, I would just like to say that when somebody really doesn't want to tell you anything, then don't disturb him/her any more. There is other side to this too, sometimes you need to share someone's feelings. It is necessary to make him/her feel good. Extra forcing can lead to serious trouble. Once this is taken care of, proceed.

Now the fun begins. Now you have to play. Truth can be known in three moods anger, frustration or laughter in increasing order of difficulty. Just bring that person to one of the above three thresholds to bring out the gold. Here you have to do it yourself. Much have been told. Just a tip, go through the motion very quickly.

Please guys and gals, try not to try this on your good friends. They will tell you the truth themselves. Try this on the person you envy.

This was my experiment. I was just giving you the procedure. I am not claiming myself to be a guru. These are just my thoughts and I am sharing them with you.

I just tell stories and they just turn out to be true.

Good one! Deep and best is that your post does depict that indeed you went out and experimented, because, otherwise the subject is so abstract that writing theoretical thoughts on this is complicated.

As others, got the link from Barkha's tweet :)Thanks.
